Dr. Castillo received her Medical Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She completed her Internship and Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Division of Internal Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Castillo completed her Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health Research, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Research at the Mayo Clinic Rochester Graduate School. Dr. Castillo then completed her Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. In her spare time, Dr. Castillo enjoys spending time with her husband and traveling.
